Still at work with trying new drummers. Just came across a new video for a band we played with last August from Illinois called Nighty Night. Nice video. Thought I'd share it. CMJ and Other stuff

So we are playing this (unofficial I think) CMJ show at LE LOFt in Brooklyn friday(oct 21). Our friend Zach, from Arvid Noe will be filling for Jake for this one.

We will also be playing at Yes Qui Si gallery this wednesday (oct 19th) in Boston if you feel like coming out, its $5 suggested donation at 8pm.

Just finished watching Batman Returns. Hadn't seen it since I was a kid, and at the time I loved it, but now I can obviously see its flaws more. Whether not it is a good movie it really bummed me out. Its been really frustrating finding a drummer. We are still looking for a new permanent drummer and haven't had any luck. I don't want to sound dramatic, but not playing our music is starting to really tear me apart. Hey we changed the band camp page price for "goodbye horses" It say "name your price" which means its free or you can pay what you want. We used to have it set for $7 because thats what we sell the cd for. It seemed really silly to sell it 9 mp3's for 7 bucks. Anyways a couple of shows have been cancelled on us this month, so we don't have any scheduled until June 23rd at Great Scott with Bass Drum of Death, Hanni El Khatib. Hopefully there will be some other stuff in the mean time.

The new record "Goodbye Horses" will be mastered by Jeff Lipton, Peerless mastering (Lightning Bolt, Battles, and more) on Feb. 19th, and the covers will be finished shortly after. We will be releasing the cds by ourselves and hopefully be ready by early March. We are not quite sure who will be doing the vinyl as of yet, but we'll have that figured at out by April or so.
